Brandon Flowers becomes the second Killers member to release album outside the band

A few days before we were informed that the Killers' drummer Ronnie Vannucci is set to release an album with members of Mumford and Sons, Keane and Noah And The Whale, under the name Mt Desolation.

What we didn't know is that the band's vocalist Brandon Flowers goes solo too, as he has confirmed he is set to release his debut solo album and it will be called 'Flamingo'.

Don't worry, for now, this doesn't mean that the Killers are breaking up, as none of the two is officially leaving the band. The truth is that the Killers seem to be in strange phase of their career as, during the last months, all of the band's members seem to be exhausted from the non-stop live tours, shows and recordings. In our opinion, the two band members just have a creative break from the Killers project that will bring in fresh passion and ideas when the time is right.
